10th Annual General Meeting 2023, Bangalore, India
The 10th Annual General Meeting of the League of Lawyers was held at the Shangri-La Bengaluru, India on 24 November 2023. The meeting was attended by representatives from 10 jurisdictions, namely:

The AGM was chaired by our Co-Presidents, Stephan Hofer and Nippita Pukdeetanakul. Matters pertaining to the growth of membership and development of the League of Lawyers were discussed during the meeting. Our treasurer, Niten Chuahan provided a comprehensive overview of the financial landscape for the year 2023.
Following the Annual General Meeting, members were treated to a sumptuous lunch at the cozy b Café, Shangri-La Bengaluru, which served tantalizing Indian cuisine showcasing the culinary alchemy that reflects the rich tapestry of India’s cultural and regional diversity.
On 25 November, the League of Lawyers hosted members and guests to an exquisite Indian dinner, organised by Mr Manoj K. Chhabra, at the iconic ITC Windsor in Bengaluru. The culinary experience featured the traditional Thali, a round platter offering a delightful medley of aromatic curries, dals, assorted bread, rice, and delectable desserts.
Members of the League of Lawyers also took part in the LAWASIA Conference 2023 held from 25 – 27 November 2023 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE.
At the end of the LAWASIA Conference on 27 November, members were given an enlightening city tour of Bengaluru, navigating through its thriving IT corridors, admiring the iconic Vidhana Soudha and strolling in the serene Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, a journey blending tradition and modernity.
The tour ended at the heritage city of Mysore on 28 November, where members marvelled at the grandeur of Mysore Palace and delved into the historical narratives that come with it. Members bonded over shared experiences and the tour fostered shared aspirations against the backdrop of Mysore’s timeless charm.
